Qatar Development Fund Participates in Design Doha Exhibition Opening Ceremony

Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), participated in the opening ceremony of the Design Doha Exhibition under the patronage of H.E. Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums.

QFFD’s commitment extends beyond the arts, as we support Afghan women weavers and craftsmen in Afghanistan by fostering international market linkages and empowering them. This initiative is one of many under the umbrella of the ‘Response, Resilience, and Global Engagement’ program, specifically focusing on the alleviation of poverty through direct support for female weavers in Afghanistan.

The Fund will continue to pursue successful partnerships globally to develop, support, and strengthen economies in countries in need—giving hope and promoting peace and justice through sustainable and inclusive development.
