Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has partnered with the 7th edition of the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), recognizing the urgent need to tackle global health challenges, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected regions. This collaboration underscores QFFD’s commitment to advancing healthcare solutions that promote long-term sustainability, innovation, and resilience in the face of growing health disparities worldwide.
Over two days, from November 13-14, QFFD showcased its commitment to global health at WISH with the “Healing Journey” booth. This interactive exhibit highlighted the Fund’s impactful work in healthcare, particularly in conflict-affected regions. Visitors were given an in-depth look at QFFD’s key initiatives, ranging from humanitarian relief efforts to development programs focused on strengthening health systems. The booth served as a platform to share the Fund’s vision for a healthier, more equitable future, engaging attendees through activities that underscored both humanitarian and developmental solutions to urgent health challenges.
Additionally, QFFD hosted a high-level roundtable discussion entitled “Strengthening Health Systems in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Settings.” This session convened leading healthcare and humanitarian experts to address the multifaceted challenges hindering access to essential health services in crisis-impacted regions. Through collaborative dialogue, participants explored innovative strategies to build more resilient and sustainable health systems, ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to the care they need, even in the most challenging environments.
The partnership with WISH underscores QFFD’s commitment to collaborating with global health leaders to drive meaningful and positive change. QFFD remains dedicated to fostering innovation in healthcare, sharing knowledge and best practices, and advancing the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
