Qatar Fund for Development Sends 52.5 Tonnes of Urgent Humanitarian Aid to Brotherly Lebanese People

Following H.H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thanh’s directive and continuing the recent air bridge efforts established between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Lebanon, Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has dispatched 52.5 tonnes of urgent humanitarian aid to support the brotherly Lebanese people amidst the ongoing humanitarian crises. The aid, delivered via an aircraft from the Qatari Emiri Air Force, includes essential medical supplies to address immediate healthcare needs, alleviate suffering, and strengthen resilience.

This initiative underscores the State of Qatar’s firm commitment to international cooperation and urgent humanitarian assistance, reaffirming Qatar’s solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people during these challenging circumstances.
