Qatar Fund for Development sends 7 trucks of urgent relief aid to support the Palestinian people in Gaza

Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) sent a convoy of 7 trucks loaded with 55 ton of urgent humanitarian aid consist of family shelter tents and sanitation and cleaning facilities to Amman – Jordan, where aid departed through the Abu Samra port in the State of Qatar to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in preparation for transporting the relief aid to the Gaza Strip, via the Jordanian land line.
The convoy arrived in the Hashemite Republic of Jordan amid a ceremony in the presence of HE Lolwa Al-Khater, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Dr. Sufyan QudahSpokesperson & Dir. Of Operations & Consular Affairs, of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Expatriates, and HE Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, HE Dr. Hussein Mohammad Al-Shebli, Secretary Generals of JHCO, and representative from QFFD.
This support comes as part of ongoing efforts to provide emergency humanitarian aid and improve the living conditions of families affected by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. This initiative aims to provide safe shelter and improve access to sanitation and hygiene services for the most needy communities in light of the difficult circumstances the sector is going through.
In addition, this cooperation confirms the keenness of all concerned parties to strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the ongoing challenges following the Israeli aggression.
