The arrival of a ship carrying 1,400 tons of humanitarian aid sent by Qatar Fund for Development to support the Palestinian people to Al-Erish port

Today an aid ship of 1400 tons of relief humanitarian aid, for the Palestinian people in Gaza, sent from Qatar Fund for Development, which departed from Mersin port in the Republic of Turkey on the 8th of May 2024, successfully arrived in Al Erish Port, in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the ceremony for the arrival of the ship, aid was received by H.E. Tariq Ali Faraj Hashim Al-Ansari, the ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Mr. Salih Mutlu ŞEN, the ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Arab Republic of Egypt and high-ranking figures from the Egyptian side, in addition to a delegation from Qatar Fund for Development.

As an extension of the State of Qatar’s efforts in providing relief aid to the brotherly Palestinian people in Gaza, Qatar Fund for Development reaffirms its firm support in sending and monitoring the arrival of urgent humanitarian aid, which is a part of the total range of vital relief materials weighing at 1900 tons in cooperation with the Republic of Turkey. Hence, Qatar Fund for Development’s efforts reflects on the State of Qatar’s unwavering and historic position in supporting of the steadfastness of the brotherly Palestinian people and its just cause.
