The State of Qatar Joins the International Forum for the Development on Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD Forum)

Reaffirming its enduring commitment to advancing sustainable development and strengthening international cooperation, the State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), has joined the International Forum for the Development of the Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD Forum).

The Forum serves as a global platform dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the TOSSD statistical framework, ensuring the quality, reliability, and consistency of development finance data through systematic collection, analysis, and continuous improvement. It also promotes the visibility and use of TOSSD data across governments and international institutions, fostering evidence-based policymaking and reinforcing transparency and accountability in global development cooperation in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Qatar’s participation reflects its commitment as a trusted partner to contributing to the global dialogue on development financing, promoting data-driven approaches, and strengthening collective efforts to measure and monitor the real impact of development cooperation. It further underscores QFFD’s leading role in advancing innovative and inclusive financing mechanisms that enable developing countries to build resilience, reduce vulnerabilities, and pursue sustainable, nationally owned development pathways.
