The State of Qatar Provides Urgent Humanitarian Aid to Support Those Affected in Sudan

As part of the State of Qatar’s steadfast commitment to supporting the brotherly people of Sudan, and in light of the current humanitarian conditions marked by severe food shortages and an increasing need for shelter and basic necessities, the State of Qatar has delivered a new shipment of humanitarian and relief aid to the city of Al-Dabba in the Northern State.

The aid includes around 3,000 food baskets, 1,650 shelter tents, and other essential supplies, provided by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and Qatar Charity (QC), to support displaced families from the city of El-Fasher and surrounding areas. The assistance is expected to benefit more than 50,000 people, in addition to the establishment of a dedicated Qatari aid camp under the name “Qatar Al-Khair.”

This humanitarian support reflects the State of Qatar’s continued efforts to stand by the brotherly people of Sudan and alleviate their suffering, underscoring its leading role in strengthening humanitarian response and fostering solidarity with affected communities around the world.
